down to your favorite Friday night fireworks spot and plant yourself on
the beach. Fireworks start at midnight and you'll catch the best views
from Ala Moana Beach or anywhere along Waikiki. There is also usually a
7:00 p.m. fireworks display at the Wet 'n' Wild water Park in Kapolei.
NYE Countdown Party
The annual "Party of the Year" will take place at Kakaako Park and includes a ferris wheel and other carnival rides, food trucks and live DJs and bands providing the music.
Aloha Tower Marketplace will be ringing in the new year with their famous Block Party in Honolulu! There will be live music on eight stages with over fifty performers! This block party, kicks off at 10pm and will will host live DJs, dance crews, magicians, and a wide variety of food and drinks to name a few main attractions.
Take in a NYE Show
Comedian Bill Maher will be showcased at Hawaii Theatre. From the website: "For the last twenty years, Bill Maher has set the boundaries of where funny, political talk can go on American television. First on Politically Incorrect and for the last nine years on HBO's Real Time, Maher's combination of unflinching honesty and big laughs have garnered him twenty-nine Emmy nominations." Tickets start at $80 and the show starts at 8:00 p.m.
